The 2023 Integra marked the return of the nameplate after a long absence. Acura revealed it in June 2022 as a five-door liftback replacing the ILX sedan, built on the same platform as the eleventh-generation Civic, and it won North American Car of the Year. A Type S performance version followed in the same model-year range, and the car was sold in North America while the name was used for a restyled Civic in China.
