Standard fittings on the 2014 ILX rose to take in 17 inch wheels, leather seats that were heated up front, a power driver's seat with eight adjustments, a backup camera and a subwoofer with active noise cancellation, all of which had cost extra before. In July 2014 Acura announced that the ILX Hybrid, Acura's first, would be discontinued for 2015 because of slow sales; only 2,660 had been sold through May 2014.
