The CSX was the only generation of Acura's Canada-only compact sedan, a Civic with its own nose, lamps and trim, made in Alliston, Ontario. It reached showrooms in November 2005, badged as the 2006 model, with a 2.0 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine of 155 horsepower, exclusive to the CSX among Civics in Canada and the United States. The Type-S, with 197 horsepower and a six-speed manual, joined for 2007. A 2009 mid-model change brought Acura's Power Plenum grille, and sales ended after 2011.
