Western Star 6900

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Western Star 6900 Series was the highest capacity model built by Western Star and was designed for off-highway vocations including logging, mining and other similar applications. It was offered in Extreme Duty and Twin Steer configurations, known as XD and TS, and each had a 141-inch bumper-to-back-of-cab length. It could be recognised by its size and by its flat, squared front fenders. Western Star, bought by DaimlerChrysler in 2000 and placed in its Freightliner Trucks division, lists the 6900 among the models it previously offered, while the 4700 was the entry-level model of the same range.
