The Sikorsky XBLR-3 was an experimental heavy bomber designed by Sikorsky Aircraft to compete in the United States Army Air Corps Project D competition of 1935, against the Boeing XBLR-1, later the XB-15, and the Douglas XBLR-2, later the XB-19. It was to be powered by four 1,600 horsepower, 24-cylinder Allison V-3420 engines, each driving a metal adjustable propeller of 4.57 metres, with a span of 62.45 metres, a take-off weight of 54,422 kilograms and a top speed of 355 kilometres per hour. In March 1936 the Air Corps cancelled it in favour of the other two entries, and it was one of the last fixed-wing aircraft Sikorsky designed.
