The Light Six was a slimmer, lighter and shorter version of the Rover Two-litre sports saloon, announced in October 1929 and built until 1930 by Rover of Coventry. It had a water cooled 2 liter straight six overhead valve engine of 45 horsepower designed by Peter Poppe, and a very light fabric body built under Weymann licence. The following season it was sold with a 2.5 liter 20 horsepower engine as the Light Twenty. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the Light Six (1929 to 1930).
