Rover 14 (Fourteen of 1938)

Automobiles

An entirely new Fourteen was announced on 14 October 1938 with a more powerful 1901 cubic centimeter engine, new coachwork, easy clean wheels and extra refinements, including synchromesh on third and top gears, automatic chassis lubrication and anti roll stabilisers. Civilian car production stopped in 1940 because of the war, and when it ended in 1945 the Rover 14 returned to the market, with 2.5 inches added to the wheelbase and to the track. Its model years run from 1938 to 1948.
