The 25/30 was a single generation, with an in line six cylinder overhead valve engine similar to that of the 20/25 but increased in capacity to 4,257 cc by raising the bore from 3.25 to 3.5 inches, with the stroke staying at 4.5 inches. The compression ratio was 6 to 1, a single Stromberg downdraught carburettor replaced the Rolls-Royce one, and magneto ignition was no longer fitted. Its model years run from 1936 to 1938.
