The Riley RMC was an open two-door roadster version of the RMB with a single bench seat for two or three people, a large rear deck and a fold-flat windscreen. Announced in March 1948, it was aimed mainly at the North American export market and so was normally built with left-hand drive and a column gear change. It had side curtains instead of side windows and a light synthetic hood. It shared the 2.5 litre, 100 hp engine of the RMB and could reach 100 mph. Just over 500 were built between 1948 and 1951.
