The Panzer Selbstfahrlafette IV Ausf. C, or Pz. Sfl. IVc, also known as Grille 10 and officially the 8.8 cm Flak 37 auf Sonderfahrgestell, was a German mobile gun platform for the widespread 8.8 cm anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun, built in 1941 by Krupp. A heavy tank destroyer was ordered from the Waffenamt in 1941 and developed as a self-propelled assault gun, but part way through development it was realised that the 8.8 cm Flak 41 gun could also serve in an anti-aircraft role. Three prototypes were made, and in 1944 the gun was replaced with the Flak 37. The vehicle had a crew of eight, weighed about 26 tons and was built on an extensively modified Panzer IV chassis powered by the Maybach HL90 engine. Its open turret had armoured side panels that folded down to make a platform for full traverse. One example went to the Western front and served with an army anti-aircraft detachment in Italy.
