The T1000 was a small Pontiac sold in the United States for the 1981 through 1987 model years, a Chevrolet Chevette that shared all of its body stampings but carried its own grille, body molding and taillights, renamed simply the Pontiac 1000 in 1983, beside the Pontiac Acadian that Canadian dealers also sold, built by General Motors on its T platform. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation, 1981 to 1987 (1981 to 1987).
