Plymouth Reliant (K platform)

Automobiles

The Plymouth Reliant and Dodge Aries were mid size cars introduced for model year 1981 as the first K cars of the Chrysler Corporation, and the smallest cars to have the traditional six passenger two bench seat arrangement favored by customers in the United States. As rebadged variants, they were manufactured in Newark, Delaware, Detroit, Michigan, and Toluca, Mexico, in a single generation, and marketed as the Reliant K. The Reliant replaced the Plymouth Volare and Road Runner. Its model years run from 1981 to 1989.
