Overland Four

Automobiles

The Overland Four was an American passenger car made by Willys-Overland of Toledo, Ohio, and introduced in 1920 as successor to the Overland Light Four and Big Four. It had an inline four-cylinder engine of 27 horsepower (20 kW), a 2,540 mm wheelbase and prices from 945 to 1,575 US dollars. The Model 4 came as a two-seat roadster, a five-seat tourer, a four-seat coupe and a four-door sedan, and prices fell sharply in 1922 to between 595 and 895 dollars. Model 91 followed in 1923, together with the longer Model 92 tourer of 30 horsepower (22 kW), sold as the Redbird and, from 1924, also as the Blackbird and the Bluebird. The Four was built until the Overland make was dropped in 1926, joined from 1925 by the Overland Six, after which Willys-Overland built only cars under the Willys name.
