Nissan Sunny California (B12)

The Nissan Sunny California (B12) is the third generation of the Sunny station wagon, sold from September 1985 to October 1990. Japanese Wikipedia says it appeared in September 1985 as the five-door wagon version of the B12 Sunny and was nicknamed the Trad Sunny. Its rear seat folded in a 50:50 split and reclined, it had the smallest luggage space of any Sunny California and looked closer to a short wagon or five-door hatchback, and it came with a 1.5 litre petrol engine and a 1.7 litre diesel. The rear suspension changed from trailing arms to independent parallel-link struts. A full-time four-wheel-drive version with a viscous coupling was added in September 1986. The September 1987 revision changed the front and rear design and replaced the eight-valve E15 with the twelve-valve GA15, a triple-viscous four-wheel-drive car followed in June 1988, and the Y10 took over in October 1990.
