Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great is a heavy-duty commercial vehicle produced by Mitsubishi Fuso, a former division of Mitsubishi Motors later acquired by Daimler AG. The line was launched in June 1996 to succeed the Mitsubishi Fuso The Great. It had a driver's airbag and wheel parking brake from 2000, a heavily facelifted cab and the UD Trucks based AdBlue urea selective catalytic reduction system in 2007. The second generation appeared in April 2017, keeping the doors and some panels and interior of the first, with LED projector headlamps, a 12-speed automated manual transmission branded SHIFTPILOT and advanced driver assistance, and the Super Great was the first commercial vehicle in Japan with such systems. A 2023 facelift for the 2024 model year brought a 12.8 litre 6R30 turbocharged intercooled diesel engine of 394 to 421 PS meeting the JH25 fuel efficiency standard, new safety systems and FS and FU grades as wing box and dump trucks. Export models run from the FP 4x2 to the FS 8x4.
