Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa (fourth generation)

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The fourth-generation Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa, the BE6 series, is an improved version of the third generation that began in 1997. The body was greatly modified and the distance between the front axle and the door considerably reduced, and the tail lights became round, unlike the second and third generations. Both automatic and manual models were offered. In 1998 a super-long body was added, bringing the maximum capacity to 34 people, and in 2002 natural gas engines were offered. Transmac in Macau was supplied with a dual-door version. The body types were a short body of 6.25 metres seating 16 or 25, a long body of 7 metres seating 16, 23, 25 or 28, and a super-long body of 7.73 metres seating 23, 24, 29 or 33, while kindergarten buses seat up to 39 or 41 in a 3x2 layout with rear doors, an automatic door and automatic transmission.
