Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter is a line of medium- and heavy-duty trucks produced by Mitsubishi Fuso. The first generation was introduced in February 1984 as the successor to the FK series, although FK still names the lighter Fighter models, and was designed in line with the smaller Canter and the larger The Great, sharing headlights, doors and rear window glass with the latter. In December 1987 it gained refreshed front styling and a 230 PS intercooled turbo-diesel engine, the FM series was updated in February 1988 with the four-wheel-drive FL models, and a July 1991 facelift added corner lamps, ABS as standard on the FK and a 210 PS naturally aspirated engine. This generation was built in Indonesia from 1985 to April 2022 under the internal name Maru-P with 6D16 engines of 190 and 220 PS. The second generation, the Full-Com Fighter, followed in July 1992 with projector headlights, and Jackie Chan appeared in its advertising under the slogan Exciting Handsome.
