Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Bus

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Bus is a series of heavy-duty intercity coaches built by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso. It grew out of earlier Fuso tourist buses whose model codes date back to 1962, and its own MS series of chassis began with the P-MS713, P-MS715 and P-MS725 of 1982. The range carried the Aero Queen name for its taller coaches and the Aero Ace name for the later models, and it was primarily not offered in left-hand drive. For markets that drive on the right, the Turkish bus maker Temsa built left-hand-drive variants named Maraton, Prenses and later Safir, and Hyundai produced a left-hand-drive version called the Hyundai Aero. Its principal Japanese competitors were the Isuzu Gala, the Nissan Diesel Space Arrow and the Hino S'elega. Later generations moved to 6M70, 6R10 and 6S10 engines with urea selective catalytic reduction, and the 2018 model added driver aids such as Active Brake Assist 3 and Proximity Control Assist.
