Mercury Meteor (intermediate)

Automobiles

For 1962 Lincoln Mercury again consolidated the full size Mercury line, adopting the Meteor nameplate for a newly created intermediate size car, bridging the size gap between the Monterey and the Comet. Again a divisional counterpart of the Ford Fairlane, it used a 115.5 inch wheelbase. For 1963 a four door station wagon and a two door hardtop coupe were added. Its model years run from 1962 to 1963.
