Mercedes-Benz Vito

Automobiles

The Vito is the mid-sized light commercial vehicle of Mercedes-Benz, sold as a panel van, a chassis cab or a multi-purpose vehicle that carries up to eight passengers. It sits between the larger Sprinter and the smaller Citan in the maker's van range. When seats replace the load area, the same body is called the Vito Traveliner, the V-Class or the Viano. The first generation, coded W638, went on sale in 1996 and was built until 2003 with front-wheel drive, so it ran for five years under DaimlerChrysler. The second generation, W639, arrived in 2003 and took the Viano name for its passenger version in 2004. The third generation followed in 2014.
