The McLaren MP4/10 was the Formula One car with which McLaren raced in the 1995 World Championship, the first season of its partnership with Mercedes-Benz and the Ilmor engine company. A team of designers including Neil Oatley, Steve Nichols and Henri Durand drew the chassis, while Mario Illien designed the bespoke engine. Mark Blundell and Mika Häkkinen drove it most of the year, with Nigel Mansell and Jan Magnussen also taking the wheel. Mansell could not fit properly in the narrow cockpit and missed races while a wider monocoque was built. The radical high needle nose design brought handling problems, and updated MP4/10B and MP4/10C versions followed. McLaren finished fourth in the Constructors Championship with 30 points.
