The McLaren M29 is a Formula One racing car that McLaren built and ran during the 1979 and 1980 World Championships. An F version of the M29 was built in 1979 but only ran in five races of the 1981 World Championship, and the M29F was the last of the M-numbered McLaren cars to be raced, as the MP4/1 was readied for use later in that season. Points scored in 1979 and 1980 were shared with other models: eight points in 1979 came with the M28 and one point in 1980 came with the M30, while the 27 points of 1981 were scored with the MP4/1.
