The Continental Mark V was a personal luxury coupe sold in North America for the 1977 to 1979 model years, a substantial revision of the Mark IV at 230 inches in length. A smaller 400 cubic inch V8 became standard in 1977, with the 460 optional, and the Mark V was assembled at Wixom Assembly beside the Lincoln Continental. Commemorative editions included the 1978 Diamond Jubilee Edition and the 1979 Collector's Series. Its model years run from 1977 to 1979.
