The first generation Mark LT used the 5.4 L Triton V8 of 300 horsepower and four doors, with optional all wheel drive, manufactured at Ford's River Rouge Plant in Dearborn, Michigan and at the Ford Cuautitlan plant in Mexico, on the same lines as the closely related Ford F-150. Lincoln projected selling 13,000 Mark LTs annually in the United States. The 2006 model sold well in its first year, and J.D. Power rated its dependability among the best. Its model years run from 2006 to 2009.
