The Ligier JS55 is a sports prototype race car, designed, developed and built by Ligier in collaboration with Onroak Automotive, conforming to FIA Group CN regulations, to compete in sports car racing since 2014. It is the newest of the CN prototypes in the family that began with the JS49 and continued through the JS51 and JS53, and like the JS53 it was produced with Onroak. The JS designation honours Jo Schlesser, a friend of the founder Guy Ligier who was killed in the 1968 French Grand Prix while driving for Honda.
