Ligier JS53

Automobiles

The Ligier JS53 is a sports prototype race car, designed, developed and built by Ligier in collaboration with Onroak Automotive, conforming to FIA Group CN regulations to compete in sports car racing and hillclimb events since 2012. The collaboration with Onroak, which also produced Ligier-named Le Mans prototypes, ties the JS53 to those Ligier-named prototypes. It follows the JS49 and JS51 in the CN family and precedes the JS55, and its JS designation honours Jo Schlesser, killed in the 1968 French Grand Prix.
