The Ligier JS39 was a Formula One car used by the Ligier team during the 1993 and 1994 Formula One seasons. It was first raced in the 1993 South African Grand Prix, where, driven by the Briton Mark Blundell, it finished third. Its best finish was a second place achieved by the Frenchman Olivier Panis at the 1994 German Grand Prix. Running across two seasons, it was one of the longer-lived Ligier designs of the 1990s and came near the end of the team's history, which ended with the JS43 of 1996 when the team was sold.
