The Ligier JS3 is a sports-racing car built by Automobiles Ligier. It was unveiled in 1971 and ended its competition life in the same year, so its career was brief. Only one JS3, chassis JS3-01, was ever built, which makes it a one-off in the Ligier catalogue rather than a production model. It belongs to the early period in which the company founded by Guy Ligier moved from sports racing toward its road cars and, later, its Formula One team, and it carries the JS prefix that honours Jo Schlesser, killed in the 1968 French Grand Prix.
