Lancia Thema

Automobiles

The Lancia Thema is an executive car produced by the Italian automaker Lancia between 1984 and 1994, one of four cars on the Type Four platform alongside the Alfa Romeo 164, Fiat Croma and Saab 9000. It was first shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1984 and was offered as a saloon and as a Pininfarina-built station wagon, with a 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 120 PS, a turbo version of 165 PS, a 2.8 litre V6 and a turbodiesel, and later the Ferrari V8 Thema 8.32. A second series came in 1988 with 16-valve engines and a third in 1992 with a 3.0 litre V6 from Alfa Romeo. Production ceased in 1994 and the Kappa replaced it. In 2011 the name was reused for the Chrysler 300C in most European markets.
