The Lancia Phedra was a large minivan of the D segment, built from September 2002 to November 2010 at the Sevel Nord plant in Valenciennes, France. It was the Lancia version of the second generation of the Eurovan project, the joint venture of the Fiat and PSA groups that also produced Citroen, Peugeot and Fiat minivans, and it replaced the Lancia Z. The Phedra was longer and more distinct in design than its predecessor, could seat up to eight people, had 60 storage compartments and sliding rear doors, and used front wheel drive on an all new platform. Engines were PSA petrol and diesel units, including a 3.0 litre V6 petrol, and a 2008 facelift added a twin turbo 2.2 litre diesel of 170 horsepower. Production ended at the close of 2010 after 45,419 cars.
