The Lancia Dilambda was a large passenger car built by Lancia between 1928 and 1935 and officially presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1929. It was powered by a 4 litre V8 engine with a 24 degree V angle. Three series were made: 1,104 cars from 1928 to 1931, then 300 from 1931 to 1933 with a modified gearbox and brakes, and finally 281 from 1933 to 1935, which had a modified, more aerodynamic chassis and was built only on a long wheelbase. Across the three series the stated totals add up to 1,685 cars. The first series therefore made up about two thirds of the run.
