The Lancia Dikappa was a sport version of the Kappa that Lancia's factory offered in 1921 and 1922, with 160 built. Its Tipo 66 four-cylinder engine was based on the Kappa's Tipo 64 but replaced the side valves with two parallel overhead valves per cylinder, and at the same 4,940 cc displacement it developed 87 hp at 2,300 rpm. It carried a light torpedo body of walnut wood covered in aluminium sheet, on wire wheels, to save weight, and reached 130 km/h against the Kappa's 125 km/h. The chassis, axles, brakes and four-speed gearbox followed the Kappa.
