The Lancia 20-30 HP, Tipo 56, later renamed the Delta, was a passenger car built by Lancia during 1911, with 303 made. It was based on the earlier 20 HP Gamma but had a bigger engine, and the improved 20-30 HP Epsilon replaced it. It was built on a normal and a short wheelbase, the short one for competition-oriented Corsa models bodied as open two or three-seaters. The Tipo 56 was a side-valve monobloc inline-four with a cast iron block, a 100 mm bore and 130 mm stroke, displacing 4,080 cc and giving 60 hp at 1,800 rpm and 115 km/h. It had a four-speed gearbox and brakes on the transmission and rear wheels.
