Jaguar R5

Automobiles

The Jaguar R5 was a Formula One racing car used by Jaguar Racing to contest the 2004 season, the last chassis the team made before it became Red Bull Racing in 2005. It was driven by Mark Webber and rookie Christian Klien and first ran in pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. Jaguar used an updated R5B chassis for two races, in China and Brazil. The car was relatively successful, with Webber scoring four points finishes including sixth at Hockenheim and Klien finishing sixth at Spa-Francorchamps, and Jaguar ended seventh in its final constructors' championship with 10 points. At Monaco a special livery promoted the film Ocean's Twelve, and a diamond fixed to the nose went missing after Klien crashed.
