The Jaguar R3 was a Formula One racing car with which Jaguar Racing competed in the 2002 season, launched on 4 January 2002 and driven by Eddie Irvine and Pedro de la Rosa. A B Specification car, the R3B, made its debut at the 2002 British Grand Prix and was used for the rest of the year. It was designed around Texaco fuel and Havoline oil, but after Chevron withdrew from the sport Jaguar secured BP fuel and Castrol lubricant in early January and Cosworth had little time to recalibrate the engine. After a fortuitous fourth place in Australia, poor reliability and a lack of horsepower pushed the team down to seventh in the constructors' standings with eight points, all scored by Irvine, including a podium at Monza.
