Jaguar F-Type

Automobiles

The Jaguar F-Type (X152) was a two-door, two-seater sports car built by Jaguar Land Rover under the Jaguar marque from December 2012 to June 2024 at the Castle Bromwich plant, and the so-called spiritual successor to the E-Type. It rode on the JLR D6a platform, a shortened version of the XK platform, and was launched as a soft-top convertible with a fastback coupe following in 2013. It was previewed by the C-X16 concept of 2011, and an earlier F-Type concept of 2000 had been cancelled in 2002. Engines ranged from a supercharged 3.0 litre V6 petrol at launch to a supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the R model, and the car was facelifted for the 2021 model year. Production ended in June 2024 after 87,731 had been built.
