The Jaguar E-Pace (X540) was a subcompact luxury crossover SUV built by Jaguar Land Rover under the Jaguar marque, officially revealed on 13 July 2017 as the second production Jaguar SUV. Designed under chief designer Ian Callum, it used the JLR PTA platform shared with the second Range Rover Evoque and the Discovery Sport, with a transverse front engine and front-wheel or all-wheel drive. It was built in Graz, Austria, by Magna Steyr and from 2018 in China by Chery Jaguar Land Rover. Engines included 2.0 litre Ingenium units, with mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants added at a 2021 facelift. A stunt driver set a barrel roll record in it for the reveal. Production ended in 2024 as Jaguar moved to electric cars only.
