The Jaguar C-X75 was a hybrid-electric two-seat concept car built by Jaguar Cars with Williams Advanced Engineering and shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show as a design study to influence future design and technology. Its four YASA electric motors, one at each wheel, were rated at 778 hp, with the batteries recharged by two diesel-fed micro gas turbines instead of a conventional engine. Jaguar's goal was 330 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. In May 2011 it announced a limited run of up to 250 cars for 2013 to 2015 with a turbocharged petrol engine and motors, but production was cancelled in December 2012 because of the Great Recession. Five development prototypes were built in 2013, and seven cars were supplied for the 2015 Bond film Spectre.
