Jaguar C-X17

Automobiles

The Jaguar C-X17 was a concept crossover SUV designed by Jaguar Land Rover and unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the first Jaguar crossover SUV. It was expected to become a production model, and at the 2015 Detroit show it was announced that the 2016 production version would be called the F-Pace. It introduced the advanced aluminium monocoque architecture known as iQ[Al], on which future models were to be based. It was powered by the 3.0 litre six-cylinder petrol engine used in the XF, XJ and F-Type, with a rear-biased intelligent all-wheel-drive system and torque vectoring that brakes the inside wheel, and the platform was designed to take new 2.0 litre four-cylinder engines as well.
