The Isuzu Rodeo is a nameplate Isuzu used from 1988 to 2004 on two quite different vehicles, a compact pickup truck sold in Japan and a midsize SUV offered in North America. In Japan the Rodeo name had earlier tagged four-wheel-drive versions of the Faster pickup from 1978, and it became a model in its own right with the third generation of 1988 to 1994. In North America the Rodeo appeared in 1990 for the 1991 model year as a five-door SUV sold in Japan as the Isuzu Wizard, with a three-door sibling called the Amigo, known in Japan as the Isuzu MU. A second generation came in 1998, the Amigo became the Rodeo Sport in 2000, and both SUVs ended production in 2004. Honda sold a rebadged Rodeo as the Passport in the United States until 2002.
