Isuzu Reach

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Isuzu Reach is a walk-through delivery van built on an Isuzu NPR chassis with a body developed by Utilimaster. It was first shown in March 2011 at the National Truck Equipment Association Work Truck Show and was sold and assembled only in North America. It was designed to use less fuel and emit less carbon dioxide than conventional trucks through a more aerodynamic, lightweight body, which let it use a smaller engine, the three litre 4JJ1-TC diesel also found in the NPR Eco-Max. Buyers could choose swing-out or roll-up rear doors, and two lengths on a single wheelbase gave cargo volumes of 540 or 630 cubic feet. UPS and FedEx both used it for city delivery, and a hybrid-electric version appeared in 2015.
