The Isuzu Giga is Isuzu's line of heavy-duty trucks, produced since 1994 as the successor to the Isuzu 810. Outside Japan it is known as the Isuzu C/E series and S and E series, and between 1994 and 2016 it was also sold in South America under the Chevrolet brand. The first generation offered box truck, tractor and dump truck bodies, new gross weight classes of 22 and 25 tonnes and design touches such as bumper-mounted headlights that later spread across the industry. Updates through 2000 to 2010 focused on emissions rules and safety equipment, including electronic stability control on tractors in 2007, and in 2010 the engine lineup was standardised on the 6UZ1. The second generation was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show with a cab shared with the Forward and Elf, and compressed natural gas versions and new engines followed between 2015 and 2018.
