Isuzu Fargo

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Isuzu Fargo is a light commercial van that Isuzu made in Japan between 1980 and 2001. The first generation, sold from 1980 to 1995 as a van and a pickup, was introduced in December 1980 with an underfloor engine and 1.6 and 1.8 litre petrol engines and a 1.8 litre diesel, with a 2.0 litre diesel following. The second generation, introduced in 1995, was a single van body style and a badge-engineered version of the Nissan Caravan rather than an Isuzu design. Between 1982 and 1990 Holden sold the first generation in Australia as the Holden Shuttle, in Europe and New Zealand it was the Isuzu WFR, and Vauxhall built it in Britain as the Bedford Midi and later the Vauxhall Midi.
