The Innocenti 186 GT was a small grand tourer developed jointly by Innocenti and Ferrari in 1963 and 1964 and never put into production. Ferdinando Innocenti wanted a small GT to expand his car business and took the idea to Enzo Ferrari, who agreed to design a coupe around a V6 that was in effect half a Ferrari V12: 1,788 cc, single overhead cam, 156 PS. Bertone built the body, a 2+2 fastback styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, on a steel tube chassis with disc brakes on all four wheels. Two prototypes were built, a tube-frame car and a unibody version meant for series production, before the project was halted in 1964; one survives and was shown at the Museo Ferrari in 2015.
