The H1 is the civilian version of the military Humvee that AM General built in Mishawaka, Indiana, put on sale in 1992 as the Hummer and renamed Hummer H1 after General Motors bought the brand's marketing rights in 1999, the first of what became the Hummer line, until the last civilian truck was built in June 2006. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the H1, 1992 to 2006 (1992 to 2006).
