Humber Pullman

Automobiles

The Humber Pullman was a four-door limousine introduced by Humber in 1930 as the successor to the Humber 20/65 hp and a long-wheelbase version of the Humber Snipe. The first cars had a 3,498 cc straight six engine with a claimed 80 hp, and the body was also supplied as a Landaulette or a Sedanca de Ville. Humber lost its independence in 1931 when the Rootes Group acquired a majority shareholding. A rebodied car with a 4,086 cc engine appeared in 1936, the Humber Imperial name was used from 1939, and the factory output went to staff cars during the war. The Pullman returned to the market in 1945 and stayed in production until 1954.
