Honda TRX450R (second generation)

Automobiles

Honda overhauled the TRX450R engine in 2006 to make it more like the motorcycle engine, with a more aggressive cam profile, a bigger bore with a shorter stroke, a short skirt piston and titanium valves, and a 40 mm Keihin FCR carburetor. Power rose from about 33 to over 41 horsepower and compression from 10.5:1 to 12:1. Electric start models were added, and 2014 was the last year of production. Each model year has its own page.
