Honda manufactured the S600, which it launched in March 1964. Available as a roadster, bearing strong resemblance to the Honda S500, and as a fastback coupe, introduced in March 1965, the S600 was the first Honda available in two trim levels. Powered by a DOHC, water cooled, four cylinder inline engine with four Keihin carburetors, the engine capacity was increased to 606 cc from the S500's 531 cc, producing 57 hp. It was the first mass marketed Honda car and the first Honda car sold in Europe. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (1964 to 1966 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
