The Honda S500 had a single generation, a roadster released in 1963 as a larger displacement variant of the S360, which was developed for sale in 1962 but never produced. Its dimensions and engine displacement were larger than established kei car regulations. It used a four speed manual transmission and a novel four wheel independent suspension, with torsion bars at the front and chain driven, coilover sprung trailing arms at the rear. Honda produced 1,363 S500s between October 1963 and September 1964. Each model year has its own page.
