Honda introduced the Rafaga in October 1993 as a compact 4 door sedan sold only in Japan, with the same 5 cylinder engine as the Honda Inspire and Honda Vigor. It shared a platform with the second generation CE series Honda Ascot and was sold in Japan at Honda Verno dealerships, one level up from the Honda Integra. Rafaga is Spanish for gust or blustery. The Rafaga and the Ascot were discontinued and replaced with the Honda Torneo in 1997. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (1993 to 1997 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
